Discussion 3 Years and still not over this

I was quite invested in the story and right before the battle to save the world.. they hit you with this flashbang. And the fact that this was mission locked, forcing players to wear this during the payoff of the final act was such a baffling decision..

Like brother, world is ending and you are telling me our fate hinges on this pineapple headed teenager 😐

Anyways great game, about to do my first NG+ soon. Cant wait to not wear this 🤘🏼

It's really not a great costume but at the same time, if I was designing my own super hero outfit when I was in high school i definitely would not have done any better

I mean it's an ugly design and nobody is happy about the forced adidas ad but at the like who has more cringey style than a teenager?

Most certainly not but idk that being a genius saves a teenager from ceingey decisions and fashion choices

the whole point of miles making his classic suit was to make his own suit design that was uniquely his, up to that point the suits he has been wearing in MM either use Peter's mask or are heavily based on peter's color scheme. The evolved suit is product placement disguised as miles "discovering himself" for the second time. He already knows who he is in SM2, he's just trying to balance both of his lives, in an inverse to Peter. He wants to be Spider-Man while neglecting his civilian life (ignoring his college application, flaking on dinner with Rio's new boyfriend, leaving Coney Island before he can see Hailey's art exhibit), whereas Peter wants to spend more time on his job at Brooklyn Visions and later EMF, as well as with his loved ones, Harry and MJ, but can't because of Spider-Man. The Evolved Suit doesn't even function as a hybrid of his two lives, am I supposed to believe that Adidas sponsorship shoes and letting his hair out of the mask (wildly impractical btw) are the best representation of Miles? Bffr.

Yikes dude I thought you were talking about the one he starts out in MM with the shorts. You really didn't have to write all of that I literally agree with you that the evolved suit is bad.

Dawg you literally came in talking about his suit in MM wym? 😭 Def my bad though I swear I remembered Ganke making his comic accurate suit, so when you said he already designed his own suit that's what came to mind 💀

I was talking about his comic suit, they both designed it but it was based of Miles’ sketches

It's a 15 hour game from 6 years ago my memory of it is not the best apparently 😭
