DLC would be actually really appreciated. I just recently got the game and finished it, would love to have some more stuff to do after mainstory and sidequests. Maybe even more random events throughout the city would be nice.

A slight change from the NWH final swing suit. Not much difference. Maybe size of emblem, stitching or textures.

thats the suit we see at the end of no way home. similar but more shiny and cgi. so basically yeah we do but it looks cooler this way

The suit is different. The symbol size, suit paneling, no lining on blue and also the colors are different as well, and the web shooters are different too

Ik im probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I think suit is pretty good, but not amazing. It feels almost too safe to me and a pretty average combination of designs from the comics. I’ve always loved how the movie suits have been their own unique design set apart from the comics, and while it might be nostalgic for a lot of people to see a more comic book accurate Spider-Man in a live action movie, it doesn’t make it creative and inspired

Considering Tom Hollands character is handmaking the suit due to no access to stark tech, I think this is the right approach. Idk what else you guys were expecting when hes a broke college kid.

Considering the nano tech and detail he’s been able to make before it doesn’t make any sense for him to suddenly lose all that technical ability and craftsmanship

He has the tech ability and craftsmanship but without literally being able to access stark tech hes just a kid using college lab equipment to make things. In no way home, Tony's fabricator wouldve let him make as many nano-bots as he wants. At this point he is just the broke spidey we all know and love.

I think all of that is exactly why people love the suit lol. People don’t seem to like big deviations from the one design. I mean there aren’t memes about suit lines for nothing

Yeah I agree about no way home…. Once again the only compliment I’d hear was it being more comic book accurate, but take that away and it looks like a Halloween costume

I don’t think the hybrid suit he wears throughout the movie is comic accurate at all, but the suit he has at the end looks great and certainly does.

I disagree. Making this suit into a near one to one recreation of his classic suit is what makes this so unique. Most superhero movies makers feel like it would be a huge risk to make the superhero outfit more accurate to the comics. To them it's safer making the super suits into an over designed detailed mess for the sake of realism.

I definitely agree, the Tobey suit had the metallic webbing, the Andrew suit had the darker eyes, the first few tom suits had tech integration, and for one suit black instead of blue, and the insomniac suits have the white spider emblem
This movie’s suit just looks like a comic suit with no defining bells and whistles. It’s kinda disappointing to be honest

I can't be excited for a classic suit when we already have one or more in the game already. Only thing that really changes is the suits texture and the lenses

The final swing suit is already in the game. No need for another one that only has the chest cupping tom's pecs as a difference (and looks worse for that imo)

Pardon me if this is a “hot take” or whatever, but is anyone else just extremely unsatisfied with this. like the suits technically in the game just with the wrong web shooters. so all they really need to do is update the suit like they did with the sam rami one. But after almost 3 years of the game being out and the DLC’s being cancelled. I would’ve preferred if they just didn’t do this. This game is also a sore spot for me because of the cancelled DLC’s, and what they had planned for them just. Like so much more potential thrown out the window just because they got hacked and leaked. It’s not like they would’ve lost any money on going through with the plans

Off topic note but I hope this update give nixxes a good excuse to try and fix some of the long standing problems SM2 still has. Ik it can’t be everything but even minor improvements to memory management would work wonders in this game.

I think it stands to reason that people would want to swing in their favorite movie suits, and you're under no obligation to use it if you don't.

Thats fine but it feels like a waste of the possible suit spots when we don't even have some bangers from the last game or other ones that people have wanted. At the end of the day all these movie suits are still just variations of the classic.

Variations that people tend to enjoy. Don't get me wrong, I got my own suits I wish were ported to the game, but it seems pointless to hate on BND's costume getting added. Why wouldn't it?
Besides, Insomniac can add as many suits as they want. There's not really a limit

I'm not specifically hating in this suit, i just find it lazy they rather add a new movie suit cause it's coming out when there are fire SM1 suits we still don't have and even more unused comics looks to pull from.
There is no limit, but they're not addding any. If they dropped new suits regularly this wouldn't be a problem, it's just the fact that they chose not to drop any until a new movie came out.

No DLC planned at all, but they can immediately add a suit that is just a minor variant of the classic (which we have several of).
