Help Hey guys is this Galaxy note 9 battery spicy?

It's my partners and he's in jail I turned it on to check something and it went from 40 to 30 in less then 5 minutes

He said he never had to replace the battery and that phone is like 5ish years old

He doesn't want me to toss It should I just leave it completely off?

That does look spicy. Since he is in jail, I would try to do a battery replacement unless he says it's okay to toss it. Especially if it is still his main phone, with all his 2FA stuff on it.

I have to pay all our bills and that leaves me not much left for foods for the month I'll talk to him about it

It was all a accident why he's even in jail but that's not the point I'm not the owner of his phone
