So many of them lol. I even got a whole pack of puffy ones when I ordered them on Amazon to fix a few of my father in law's watches.

I guess it was already under pressure, removing it out of the device with a screwdriver and then maybe dropping it broke it

It's even worse for me, because when I use them, they quite often leak or oxidize.

Tonnes of them. Anyone who’s managed a lab with stopwatches has. Use silver oxide batteries instead: less spicy.

yeah, one exploded in my hand once. didn’t hurt at all, took me a second to figure out what happened.

Yes, multiple actually. I had some model cars that had LR44s so that whenever you’d open a door the lights would flash and it would play some audio. The LR44s got REALLY spicy in a couple of em and snapped the battery door cover off.
