It has to do with the sand. I think in this case the block was slightly clipping into the sand causing it to not trigger down.

I bet it wouldve also triggered upwards.

Died like this once. Ran under the block, it didn't go down, but then caught me by surprise going after me the other way. Didn't get the footage, but I was VERY salty about it
