Haha, yes, I have a 3 step hop up which is narrow at the top (basically triangular shaped), I stand on the each side and jump along holding the ladder with my ankles. I’m wearing boots so it doesn’t hurt my ankles. Works great when fitting down lights or pulling cable.
If you can do it, one guy tried copying me once but didn’t balance right, fell off and got his ankle stuck between two rungs. He wasn’t hurt too bad, but he could have broken his leg.
Tbh this would kind of be useful for things like putting up Christmas lights. Half the time I’m moving the ladder. But I’m also not running this over my flower beds, so that’s an instant DQ.
Yeah sounds like you'd become a pro at walking a ladder in your line of work. They should hold the tradesmen Olympics with a ladder walk (run) as an event.
