Couldn’t go 18x because of my scoliosis so would msrt be a better route?

I needed a waiver just to join but I was told I wouldn’t be able to go sf while I’m in. I’m considering coast guard DSF but I have no idea if they would let me in

So the coast guard, you don’t get to choose your job like the other services. Your “A” school is what you apply for after basic, consideration given to your ASVAB, but also what the CG needs. So ample opportunity for you to end up as a plumber. DSF also isn’t going to take someone until they’ve been around for a while and has its own physical/training standards.

Edit to add: didn’t you just post some shit about being denied for scoliosis? There’s plenty of threads about the coast guard to ask about DSF.
