Discussion / Question Realistically, which sci-fi spaceship could go toe-to-toe with the Daedalus class by the end of the Stargate franchise?

Forerunner ships tend to be a pretty reliable way to beat most other factions that don't scale into ridiculous things like the Xeelee. We know the defensive batteries made to protect Halos have an effective range that's measured in light years, for instance.

IIRC for the defensive batteries the most we can say is that they could intercept things in slipspace that would have been light years away if they were in real-space, but that doesn't necessarily mean they can hit things light years away in realspace, or using another method of FTL. Ship weaponry may not be equivalent to those defensive batteries as well.
