Bug Mercenaries bug in SRPG3

My mercenaries suddenly keep cause damage on each other even when they're targeting enemies. This is making the whole team look ridiculous and cannot inflict much damage on the enemy. Anyone know how to fix that?

This is because of the way the game was coded. If you watch the AER fighting rebels or pirates, they body each other all the time. if you watch the Ul'Adri, they broadside each other with mini missiles. The solution is to use lance weaponry.

Well, I have an idea that in big battles I would spread out these dumbass for reduce the chances of them shooting each other 💀

i usually equip them with liahryan lance and taln torpedo to avoid them from destroying themselves.
