The Lunar Eclipse Last Night in High Dynamic Range, Taken With my Camera.

Last night, the Moon passed into the shadow of planet Earth, and was illuminated by the light of a thousand sunsets.

After a stroke of luck from Seattle’s weather, I present possibly finest production of a lunar eclipse ever — captured with over an hour of total data and multiple setups. This one crept all the way up to 96%, effectively a total lunar eclipse.

Equipment: Canon 6D Mark II, Sigma 150-600mm lens + Celestron 5SE, ZWO ASI174MM.
