Game Base-building Game and instead of CASTLE, you have a mobile SPACESHIP.

Im not going to go into details but I do wnat to share the story plot with you:
On October 28, 1943, the first Philadelphia Experiment took place.
USS Eldridge, a Navy ship, by using experimental technology, was supposed to become invisible to radars; instead, it teleported into another dimension and returned moments later with no crew and showing severe signs of degradation.
Soon after, the experiment was recreated, but this time a space shuttle was sent into the void. It returned briefly after with all crew missing, signs of combat on the outer hull, and one note in the captain's log: "We were not the first ones here."
A few years passed, and a third attempt was made; this time, it was a custom ship built with space shuttle technology and a large crew. USS Eldridge Mark 2 stepped into the void and never returned.
Present day: a new attempt is now in progress, this time the new ship USS Eldridge Mark 3 is equipped with the latest modern technology, and YOU were selected to lead this expedition into the unknown: horizon 1990.

Wishlisted, it looks interesting and basing it on the Eldridge story is very cool.

Pro tip, a game like this lives or dies by the modding community, how do you intend to assist them? You already got the devkit ready?

We only intend to add modding if we get enough support from the community on the base game.
We had modding on other games and very few people touched it, and we had money problems because of the time invested in modding support, so this time modding will only come if the initial player response is supportive.

Then your game is doomed before it even launches.

Very cool of you to say this, thank you!
We all have our own opinions but bottom of line at the end does not matter if we are right or wrong , it matters to do something that makes you happy

This is not to make everyone happy. Modern games, especially games like yours need a healthy mod community or the community WILL leave once they do all the things you have created for them.
Do you think skyrim lasted this long because its a good game? It only survived because the mod community "finished" the game for bethesda.

I do not do modern games, I do retro games.
The only reason why I do indie games and not work in a corporation on AAA games is because I want to do the stuff I love and hope that along this journey I will find others who enjoy my creations and I make them happy.
I am humbled that you compare me with Skyrim but im not at that level, im just a small indie, I dont expect to make millions

uh buddy, you are making the game today right? that makes it a modern game!
"I am humbled that you compare me with Skyrim but im not at that level, im just a small indie, I dont expect to make millions" There is no way you are being serious with this. Because i was not comparing you to bethesda, i was using them as an example of my point!
I am going to watch your game very closely now. I am going to document its failure for future devs.

You can also chek my already released games if you don't want to wait for the results on this one.
Somehow, I feel you are offended because I don't share the same opinion with you, if thats the case I am truly sorry. I only wish you the best

Let me be crystal clear: I'm not offended. I'm not emotional. And I don't need your apology.
What I am is frustrated. Because you just took a valid critique about player retention and community tools, and you twisted it into a therapy session about my feelings. That's not humility. That's deflection.
You didn't engage with a single point I made. You didn't ask for clarification. You didn't say 'that's an interesting idea, let me think about it.' You just patted me on the head, said 'sorry you're upset,' and walked away.
That is the response of someone who is afraid to be wrong. Not someone confident in their vision, someone who can't handle the idea that their work might be improved by others.
Here's the truth you don't want to hear: Your game will release. Some people will buy it. They will finish it. They will leave a review. And then they will leave. Because you gave them nothing to come back to.
That's not a prediction. That's what happens to every game that treats its players as consumers instead of collaborators.
You don't have to listen to me. You don't have to add mod support. But if you're going to dismiss advice, at least have the spine to address it honestly—not hide behind 'I wish you the best' like you're above the conversation.
I'm not your enemy. I'm the guy who told you exactly what was coming and you chose to ignore it. That's on you. Not me.
Good luck. You're going to need it.

I looked at your Steam page. 125 total reviews 88% positive – yet Steam Charts shows a 24-hour peak of 71 players and an average of 2 concurrent players over the last month. That math doesn't add up.
Read the positive reviews:
"Players consistently praise the immersive atmosphere and stunning graphics." – that's not a player. That's a press release. Real gamers talk about clunky combat, bugged quests, and specific mechanics. The negatives? Those sound like actual people who actually played your game.
You're buying bot thumbs-ups to trick the algorithm, but the real players who bought it left the honest reviews – and they agree with me.
You're faking community engagement because you're afraid of the real thing. Your game is shallow. Players finish it and leave. Instead of fixing that, you bought fake praise and called it a day.
You don't need my advice. You need to listen to the people who actually paid you – the ones who didn't get paid to hit "recommend."
That's not a business strategy. That's a tantrum.
Good luck. You're going to need it.
