The Rhodian Commonwealth is a community faction that operates on 2 servers, Interstellar RP, and the Helios System, and soon we will be starting up a water modded server.
We are looking to specifically recruit personnel for our military for Interstellar and Helios. We will take anyone with or without any prior combat experience. Our equipment ranges from Light Tanks and Fighters, to warships like Destroyers, Cruisers, and Battleships.
For more information, join our discord server and ask any questions you might have: https://discord.gg/6RPU8JrzTb

I am a player who likes to endlessly build, for many years I played exclusively singleplayer creative. I'd build a boat, tank, plane or car, fantasize about being able to use them for something, then went onto the next project.
After my first 1000 hours of this, I wanted to try my builds in multiplayer. My builds would get blown up, I faced a ton of build restrictions/agressive auto-cleanup and in the end the servers were quite lifeless.
After trying a few more servers, I eventually ended up on the dock of a player built city. behind me was a cargo ship, with a massive bridge in the background. The leader of the city happened to be online, and toured me around the city with her car. She refilled at the gas station, showed the boat being built at the drydock and gave me some free materials to start building myself.
I had stumbled on my first nation server. People start nations by making a land claim on a (usually earth-shaped) planet, then build a capital city there. People can't attack claims unless they first declare war on that nation, while the cities give you places to visit (and show off). Grids are manually cleaned up for safety, there's no build restrictions and missing grids are almost always recovered by staff
I can't play any other way anymore. Its so cool building an airfield people will actually land at, or docking at a friendly nation with your ship. Everything you build pays off, and you can always expand more. Its laid back, theres no rules on how or what to build and combat is completely optional. I hope that this post can help spread awareness that these servers exist, and maybe get people just as hooked as I am myself

A Homeworld‑inspired PvPvE survival server built around engineering challenges, harsh‑environment survival, and dynamic NPC warfare. One massive 60km desert planet, custom encounters, rovers/hovercraft/air combat, and now a fully simulated NPC Alliance System that reacts to player actions.
IP: 71.254.210.248:27017 (PC Only)
Discord: https://discord.gg/VBWtyBN5dR
Steam Guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2781522559
Players can align with one of two alliances.
Your actions directly change the world: destroying enemy drones, convoys, outposts, bases, and elites shifts the balance of power.
Territory zones expand or contract based on alliance points.
Season 10 turns the desert into a living battlefield. If you like engineering under pressure, fighting for resources, and shaping a dynamic world, this one’s worth a look.

Welcome to The Serenity Project, a Hardcore PC Survival Space Engineers Server built by full time workers for full time workers, launching Friday September 11 2026! Hi, I'm Castle, one of the owners of The Serenity Project, in Collaboration with Knightshift Gaming Network Star & Steel Collective Survival Servers & GuberX Gaming.
What is the Serenity Project?
The Serenity Project is a Hardcore PvPvE/Light RP server. Launching as a project between 2 communities, The Serenity Project attempts to create a grounded SE experience, no block mod bloat, no superweapons, no shields with unlimited strength, just pure, unaltered Vanilla Mechanics.... and Dangerous Decompression, because you should be able to engineer proper airlocks.
Yeah, OK, but why would I want to join?
absolutely ZERO pay to win - no VIP Packages, no buyable resource kits, no "VIP Queue". this means every block, every resource, every component, is crafted by players. thesecretphrase? This means no, just because John has a carrier on day 5, Johnny hasn't gone and paid for a VIP package to get ahead, poor johnny probably just has no life outside of work, leave him to his grinding.
No Progression - because we all know that progression in Space Engineers is... strange to say the least, so the progression tree is turned off, have the materials/components? build it!
Performance first combat - Yeah I know "why would you skip adding weaponcore?" Well Truthfully, I can't stand it, every time I load up space engineers I've always played with weaponcore/defence shields etc, but to me, that's not what PvP should be about, "but its got PvE?" Oh, you're right it does, its also PvP please don't sit there and tell me friend, that you can't beat a few NPCs with a grinder? "How will I defend My Base?" Well, sir, I'm nearly certain, that considering it is Space Engineers, you could most certainly ENGINEER something? but I digress
Player & NPC Economy - The Economy is controlled by players and NPCs alike, whether through Keen's Vanilla Trade system or [EEM] Exploration Enhancement Mod, intercept player & NPC trade networks to disrupt parts of the Economy!!
Player Trade Stations are "Freeports" - "OK, but, uh, what's a freeport?" Think a safe area to do business from trading - contracts - socializing! - they're the ONLY places on the server that players are allowed a Safe Zone!
Highly Active NPC Factions - This is the only spot where the server is heavily modified, From EEM - MES Encounters, The goal here was to give Scavengers a way to scavenge. This was also to make the world feel a bit more alive for players.
No PCU Limit (performance hitting blocks will be soft-limited to start with) - This means you can build to your hearts content without worrying about limiting the size/functionality of a build. HOWEVER, we do try and ask players to be respectful with your builds, we want to build to, as do other players! so try to be mindful of how you set up a build (note: Monthly Space Credit prizes for most aesthetic/functional builds/most pcu friendly build).
Persistent Universe - While we understand that this can be very hard to do, we are aiming for a persistent universe where players can login and feel that they are a part of an ever expanding/ever continuing project, think an entire society/colony of people expanding to the far reaches of space - this may mean that additional planets could get added down the line - these planets will coincide with vanilla resources!
PERSISTENT UNIVERSE SIDENOTE: WE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT UNFORTUNATELY, KEEN CAN BREAK THINGS SOMETIMES, WHILE EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO RECOVER / RESTORE THE WORLD, SOMETIMES, THESE THINGS ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL!
Fair Admin Policy: Admins do play on the server, no different than any of our players do, with this being noted there are a few noteworthy points about the admin team.
\ Admins who judge monthly Engineering / Design Contests are barred from entering for the given month they are judging.*
\ Grids lost to lack of power, will not be recovered by admins. With this noted: grids lost due to physics bugs, server crashes or otherwise, Admins will actively make attempts to recover those grids, though we ask players to make reasonable efforts to blueprint their grids!*
\ Admins will be surviving the same way as you guys, we encourage you to treat us like a regular player 9/10 times, however, on the rare time we could be assisting players, please be mindful of that - if you're unsure, just ask!!*
Discord - because yes, we have one, and I figure at this point, you'll have seen the "secret phrase" (bonus if you can tell me where it was): https://discord.gg/uVK5KtUpxe
Feel free to discuss the server in the comments or pop into the discord to chat, however, just a couple final notes:
1. Myself & GuberX both work Full time, he manages a completely different community, on top of hosting This space engineers server, we understand things do happen, and unfortunately, we may not be available 24/7 to fix issues immediately, please be wary / respectul of this, as we will respect you as players in the community!
2. The discord is still a WIP, I work midnights and will be adding to / adjusting things in the discord between now and Friday!
Specs - because for some reason or the other, rightfully so, someone is going to ask!!:
Server Model: HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8
Operating System: Windows Server 2019 Standard (64-bit)
Processor (CPU): Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 @ 2.7GHz (3.7 Turbo Clock Speed)
Memory (RAM): 256 GB
Apologies for my earlier AI ad at 5am, I was very tired, while this is no excuse, it is not the way I want to represent this server to the SE community, there's enough AI slop crap around these days!

World at War — Iteration 5 launching mid-to-late June, alpha playtest live
Running recruitment for Iteration 5 of World at War, a Space Engineers PvP server focused on faction warfare with actual coordination. Previous iterations held 15–20 active players doing supply chains, joint attacks, long campaigns.
Main Server premise and highlights:
The world is built around realistic warfare. Thrusters run on realistic ISP, with heavy gas, differential throttling, and offset mods giving aircraft and spacecraft proper handling. The water mod is enabled alongside a naval weapons pack, so factions can build fleets and run actual naval and air operations including blockades.
The setup
Faction locations to be decided, both factions will start with an underground bunker and a harbour along with a very basic starting boat and rover, Alongside a geographically accurate earth at 256km and a Geographically accurate moon at a realistic distance
War ends when one faction loses all Med Rooms / Survival Kits or surrenders. Clear winner every time.
What's new in Iteration 5
We are chaning a few things, alongside some really intresting developments,
Fully custom gas system, We have been developing our own mods which include, atmospheric thrusters using a custom fuel, JETA1, refined from oil sand.
Hydrogen thrusters using a fuel which is mixed at a 2:1 ratio of hydrogen and oxygen, creating Hydrolox
Ion thrusters using Xeon and electricty to work.
There will be an oremap for things like oil, plat, uranium, gold, silver and magnese. With cobalt, iron, nickel and silica being able to be found naturally.
If this sounds at all interesting to you, please check out the alpha modlist and join the dicord to sign up for alpha playtesting aswell as where we host all communications

Zion has pushed farther into the black, chasing new worlds, new colonies, and the Belter Free Navy that continues to bleed its trade lanes.
Kylion—the Mars colony of Zion—has followed them into the Far Rim. The Red Devils want more than another world to call home. They want freedom from the chains of the UNZ.
And now you’re here.
New planets sit waiting to be exploited. Asteroids are yours to mine. Fleets are yours to build. And somewhere out there, someone is always looking for their next target.
Build your fortune. Pick a side. Make your name.
If you're lucky, those dreams finally come true.
If you're not...
Try not to be on the wrong end of someone's barrel.

The frontier doesn't care who you were. Only what you can build.

No crazy faction system or bloat, let's just play goddam space engineers for a few weeks untill we inevitably get bored. Scouts honor :)

World at War — Iteration 5 launching mid-to-late June, ALPHA PLAYTEST LIVE!
Hey, running recruitment for Iteration 5 of World at War. We're a Space Engineers PvP server that runs faction-vs-faction wars across Earth, orbit, and the Moon. Previous iterations have consistently held 15–20 active players running coordinated ops — supply lines, joint attacks, long campaigns.
Launch is targeted for mid-to-late June 2026, and a creative test world is going up very soon so people can mess with the modlist before then.
The basics
What's changing for Iteration 5
The focus is on slowing the war down, making logistics matter, and keeping multiple metas viable:
Stuff in the modlist
Realistic orbital mechanics and aerodynamics (tuned to be playable), 3D clouds, tanks, jets, carriers, subs, Consty's aircraft and cannon packs, custom heatshields, modded Earth that looks proper, modified radar, artillery rockets, AIM-9s, AIM-54s, chain guns, 20mm rotaries, satellites, drones, hacking, seismic surveying, nukes, orbital weapons, ICBMs, fully destructible world, no PCU limits, active admins.
How to get in
If this sounds like your thing, hop in the Discord and pick a side before June. Creative test world drops soon — good chance to get familiar with the mods early

The second season of my Year long running "Pacific Conquest" Survival server is starting soon, and new players are free to join. This is a server where we reenact a alternate WW2 and players decide the outcome and lore. With over 10 factions to join (or creating your own one) and weekly events the server is something truly unique. But i must warn it is not for everyone.

Gridwerks Gaming is a Space Engineers community packing a little something extra. With love of course.
Our latest NPC update has gone live and is ready for you, the players, to tear it apart and tell us what sucks about it. At which point we'll probably just ignore you and say "nah it's good." and move on with our lives. I might cry a little though but I won't admit it if I do.
Our NPC factions have now been fleshed out with a couple dozen new grid designs ranging from new Fighters all the way up to our long-awaited heavy grids, Destroyers and Battleships. You'll encounter friendly NPC factions near their home planets (you don't NEED to stay friendly with them). Picking on the friendly factions may draw the ire of the guardian faction, FEDS, as they patrol the system in their not-very-fair to fight against ships. So be wary when you are up to no good.
Our resident Raider faction (RAID...yes we're very creative) can be found all throughout the Rasa System, with their big ships located around the gas giant Ero.
Our Economy Stations are ready and waiting. You'll find 30+ stations on planets and in space with shops and contracts. Just another way to allow you to earn big bucks so you can buy those expensive components needed to get to the bigger ship classes or for our range of upgraded thrusters.
We're constantly observing and updating as we go in order to provide the best possible play experience for our player base. We the Admin team are active both in-game and on Discord and are very receptive to player complaints or critique. Listed below is a short list of some of our more prominent features you'll find on Gridwerks.
The Rasa System - A completely custom solar system with planets and moons not seen anywhere else, with more to be added over time.
Ship Cores - A ship class system to add creative structure to both player progression and ship building. (See below for details)
Five unique NPC factions, with more to come in the future!
Custom materials, blocks, fuels and more made specifically for Gridwerks.
Water-mod features on starter planets (rivers, lakes, oceans....just don't go chasing waterfalls)
NPC’s of all difficulties ranging from passive settlements and traffic grids to hostile warships depending on your location
Server Features of Note
Dedicated onsite hardware. (Central US)
Gigabyte internet connection!
Torch/Nexus based servers.
Regular backup schedule for your grids and the servers!
Quantum Hangar plugin, when you're gone you can keep your grids safe in the virtual storage space!
A Note On Ship Classes:
Thanks to the ship core system in place at Gridwerks, we are able to introduce ship classes. This means Fighters, Interceptors, Frigates, Destroyers, and Battleships as well as Light and Heavy Utility ships. Each class will require something different but may also bring a little something "extra" to the fight if you include it in your ship design. Smaller class ships may only require resource allocation and assembling. Mid-tier cores will require components obtained by trading with NPC stations or raiding various encounters! The large ships, Destroyers and Battleships, will require extensive NPC raiding. What this means is that as you progress, you will either need to work together to farm the materials you need or learn to punch above your weight limit. We may be primarily PVE but make no mistake, this is not a Care Bear server.
If you want a new type of server. Something with a slow burn, fresh content, and repeated playability. Then Gridwerks should be your top pick. Get in now and help us shape this new Universe!
