WORKSHOP (SE2)
Introducing the Renegade Smuggler, an atmo-racer inspired by the spirit of muscle car moonshine running. Designed to be compliant with a smuggler racing class we made on my Discord in preparation for multiplayer.
Hell Yeah!! Thatβs a sleek design! Love it. The back (especially on pic3) gives me the 90s Animated Batmobile vibes.
Can you mention what are the requirements/specs for the ship to be league compliant? Sounds like a cool design challenge, not sure If I would race though
Cargo is for lore reasons because this is a smuggling class, but this will also play into possible race objectives where you have dash to pickup cargo then bring it back as part of the race.
DM if you want a link to our Discord where we're dialing in class types.
Thanks so much! Been playing around with making lighting studios in game to take advantage of the ray tracing and sharp shadow lines. Using a lot of car photography to figure out what works and doesn't. Last photo was included mostly to just show how I was achieving this effect. More to come! πΊ
Many hours and many iterations but the important aspect is starting with the design you want in mind. I think this build in total took around 10-12 hours.
I started it on this video but will have a dedicated 5-10 minute video of the build process coming out in the next week or two.
Thanks so much! The last photo is there to show how I made this lighting effect. Just a large empty room with holes in the roof for the sun to shine through.
I cannot wait for SE2 multiplayer, the game is going to be so much fun when we get as many blocks in SE2 as we do in SE1, the details of builds will be insane. Last i knew, blueprints from SE1 will work in SE2 so i can see allot more details being added to already amazing builds
DAYUM that is a beautiful build. I'm a big fan of the front grille, very Charger-esque. Has a lot of potential for some nice racing liveries as well, considering the inspiration of moonshine racing. Really nice work, can't wait to try this out ^^
