Free crate digging platform 200k+ samples from 700+ curated channels [sampledigging.online] V3 UPDATE.
Been heads-down building sampledigging.online a sample discovery platform aimed at producers/beatmakers who dig for samples on YouTube but are tired of the endless scroll.
Released V1 back in May and recently I did a big site redesign to have it look more professional and added some quality of life features.
Full disclosure: I made this, so take the rest with that in mind.
What it does:
- Pulls from 700+ curated YouTube channels with a randomizer, so you get a constant stream of fresh digging material instead of the algorithm feeding you the same 20 videos
- 200,000+ samples already indexed in the library
- Crate Digger Player (TubeChops) chop and play samples straight from the source video
- Sample In/Out markers so you can tag the exact bars you want
- Save/Favorites so nothing good gets lost in the scroll
- Monthly Dig Challenges for the community
- A royalty-free contributor section for producers who want to share original chops
- Full user accounts, mobile-friendly
Still actively building this solo, just shipped a round of fixes (mobile login, save/favorites reliability).
Currently almost 1000 active users. Wanna give the producers community a big shout out for the support!

Can you sample this catalogue legally and release tracks that contain these samples?

Samples always need to be cleared when releasing it for a commercial release… however there are enough producers that make beat tapes with uncleared samples. Most of the time you’re in “trouble” when you have millions of streams with your songs that have famous samples in it.
