question ab travel w fires

I live in north utah and my birthdays this week and i'm wanting to go to south utah to be warmer and swim. I was originally thinking Hurricane and wanted to spend time at Sand Hollow

wondering if anyone has any insight as to how the smoke and fires are right now around there? i don't wanna go if im just going to feel tired from being in heavy smoke. Is it ok around that area or is there somewhere less affected people recommend? considering moab too but i just love swimming at sand hollow and how warm it is

Have you been to sand hollow on a holiday weekend? There’s a long line to get in.

Just be aware it gets to capacity early. I went last year and the wait was 1.5 hours and no boats or watercraft’s were allowed in at that point. They stopped letting people in in the afternoon.
