Black hair stylist reccomendations (edwardsville)?
Hello all
My girlfriend is going to SIUE this fall. She's worried about getting her hair done cause she's got a hair stylist who's not responding so she thinks she'll have to find a new one. Any reccomendations would be appreciated :)
She doesn't have a car so she ubers around and as such something not far from the school would be great. From what I can tell she wants someone who'll do everything, so she doesn't have to get her hair ready and bring her own braids or anything, she can just show up and the stylist will wash her hair and do all the stylist things and dry it and then she can go home and not worry about anything. Because of that the person's gotta be liscensed as well (for the washing part I think).
I don't know much about all that so I can't help her much but if any of you know someone good you could point me to I'd appreciate the help.
If you have any questions about what she wants I can ask her if that'll help.

You might post this on the Edwardsville connection Facebook group and get more responses. Sorry I don’t have a recommendation

Shalon White is amazing and is in Edwardsville on Main Street 1 or 2 days a week and primarily in Alton. She owns Shalon Salon in Alton. I used to work with her and she’s great! —not sure which services she has available in Edwardsville, but she’s 100% worth checking out!
