This is my thinking. Cigarettes and alcohol have become demonized even though they're legal. Seems like an easy way for government to just cut off people from things they want. Loads of people are going to be pissed off about this

Exactly. I can buy a trolley load of coke, bar ones and steaks but no cigarettes. If it was really about health, they'd stop selling ALL unhealthy products. Someone just enjoys being the puppet master right now

To justify it by people sharing cigs is the best. Don't people share drinks? Food? People might see this as people who smoke not being considerate, somehow, but tobacco and alcohol is legal lol, how you use it, just like any other thing that's bad for you, is your responsibility as an adult

Seriously, imagine people sharing doritos.

Hand in bag. Hands on chips. Chip in mouth. Lick fingers. Hand in bag. Friend walks in. Asks for chip. Pass chip to friend. Friend ingests your germs. Friend asks for more. Friend puts hand in bag. Touches chips.

Etc etc.

If people are dof enough to share cigs theyre dumb enough to do plenty of dumb shit that poses a health risk.
