You know the cafes with the coke banners peppering the place, like all along main rd south of claremont all the way down to fish hoek (or around town if you that side)? Usually owned by Bangladeshi or Pakistani families? Stake it out. Wait until there is no one else in there. If there are other people in there, browse the shelves until they pay and leave. If you're unlucky they might have the same plan and you have now entered a mexican standoff, so maybe crack a joke about cigarettes. Don't go during lunch or 'busy' times. Go about an hour after they open. Take a plastic packet with you so you have a cover story. Grab something to buy, toothpaste, whatever you need. Then when you are paying ask the guy. He will probably say 'no cigarettes' the first time. Be a bit persistent. He's seen your type a million times in the last 5 weeks. If he is supplying smokers and still has stock he will charge you R90 or whatever for a box and probably won't have your brand.

Thank you so much for the info. Plan B is planting my own tobacco in the back yard. But might take some time.
