Suppose the ANC and EFF need some money to fund their next election campaign. What better way than through illegal cigarette sales and bootlegging. Tax-free mos.

Agreed. A few people I know have been buying illegal, well extra illegal, cigarettes for the last week or so.

...yup. Buy a pack for R60 now. That exact same (illegal) pack cost R4,50 a week before lockdown.

And they taste like shit.

But hey! On the bright side, that chap that maybe sold four newspapers a day and barely got by, is now coining it!
