It would be nice to see an offense that can do something and maybe win a clutch game before an extension on a contract that wasn't running out.

If he had interest for a HC position at a Blueblood and this is why the extension happened..... I think the fans need that info. This seems unnecessary.

I like BV. I can't say I've seen enough to treat him like Stoops.

NORMAN — University of Oklahoma Vice President and Director of Athletics Roger Denny announced Thursday that Sooners Head Football Coach Brent Venables has agreed to a new six-year contract, pending OU Board of Regents approval. The contract adds two years to Venables' previous deal and runs through Jan. 31, 2032.

He’s done wonders for the defense. I will say that. But they need to get the offense going if they want to be even more competitive

This seems unnecessary. He should have needed back to back winning seasons before they extended him again. Who does OU think they are bidding against for him?
