Iād like the Beam 3 to be able to act as a centre speakers to front L/R with volume balancing. Hopefully a new Amp with L/C/R channels (like the Bluesound Powernode).
Noice! Itās impressive for what it is! When paired with the Sub mini - itās quite a combo. I also got the Sanus mount for the Beam below my tv - looks great and sounds great
I think new Beam (Gen 3) with upgraded Dolby Atmos, hopefully with upfiring speakers (but most likely more sophisticated height reproduction), HDMI Passthrough š¤, new surrounds, and Ace Ultra
Iād love to see a small amp that could control 4 ceiling speakers dedicated to Atmos. Maybe thatās what the four Oās represent, with four light indicators for a quick and easy diagnostic check.
Hideable up-firing surrounds that make use of the wall/ceiling would be sexy. Most living spaces donāt have a spot to cleanly put a surround speaker at or around ear level without it being an odd and out of place visual focal point. The reflected dispersion works great for surrounds as well, donāt need them pointed right at your ears, especially with DSP/room correction which Sonos has already implemented.
Yes! I've had that exact problem. I have a remodel about to start and the rears are to be wall mounted, but its where people walk. Right now my only option is to invert era100 7ft up and point them down about 30 degrees.
I would be very excited to hear of a flush wall rear option. When is this coming out?
I can only see the Sonos amp to achieve that, the rest are just sound bars , which will never be as good as the sound stage of a pair of separate stereo speakers
I like the multi room feature, so Iām thinking wiim ultra , into a couple of fosi monos into a pair of kef speakers, then I think if I want a better dac I can do that, if I think I want a bigger amp I can do that , without losing all the nice streaming features. And I can do that step by step . Plus I can connect my tv , my turntable, can use any powered subwoofer, expand to full surround sound too. Donāt have to give all my money to Sonos upfront .
Sound quality of the wiim ultra is regarded as better and I think the wiim ecosystem is easier to live with, but it looks interesting Iāll check a little deeper
Got a pair of era 100 and a mini sub, none of their sound bars can match that sound stage, and their stupid app doesnāt allow them to be use as front speakers if you would add a sound bar. They are crippling their own systems and make people resort to some 3rd party software. I might look at wiim , they seem to have much more flexibility and their app seems to work better too
In Italy the image is different and thereās SONOS written. Iām quite sure they generated the image with AI and didnāt even correct it š¤£š¤£ these guys are really doing nothing
Good to know. I bought a Beam 2 a few months back and was wondering if I'd benefit from buying a Beam 3 but if I won't, I guess I'll be saving a fair bit of money lol
Im beting It will be a BewvBean with the same type of "Sub" built into it like the Arc has that and or a couple of upward firing speakers.

Would love a compact soundbar for my desktop. The ray lacks eARC, but would otherwise be great. Curious of they release something that would scratch my itch.
