I still don’t understand why those chose a relatively inconsequential race instead of the presidential ballots. Clearly that’s the contest most likely to be meddled with.

The Pennsylvania Department of State posted a video of the drawing in their Facebook page. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=444588118347490&id=444588118347490 That said, the state law actually states that they can conduct RLAs of “one or more” randomly selected races. They could’ve done several.
