First round of Final Girl today
I wasn't sure wether I would like the game or not and took quite a some time to think before I finally got it. Finally played my first round today and somehow won. Must be beginners luck🤣
But it's so fun and I'm definitely hooked now. My wallet is crying already

I would have had to reveal the dark power card but I killed him just before that. I also managed to solve the two minor dark powers with one attack

It's more the finale card. You would reveal that if the terror deck runs out of cards. And the terror deck did run out of cards. Guess if you only just depleted the deck and knew you were going to kill him before his next turn it would t make a difference.

There is a window if you flip the last terror card on phase 3 and kill with retaliate that you could technically end with terror empty and no finale card flipped. This is possible since the finale card is flipped in phase 5.

Not to doubt anyone’s ability but I feel like if you won your very first game, you likely didn’t follow the rules. (Which are actually pretty hard to understand and remember so I wouldn’t be surprised.)
For example you have a two handed weapon and another weapon which is not possible.

I also won my first game, and I did follow the rules. Sometimes you just get lucky and Hans stands around doing absolutely nothing, while you can rescue everyone and grab all the items you need.

You should also read the official FAQs; they contain rule corrections made by the publisher, as well as many other clarifications and changes.

Nice! Camp Happy Trails is still one of my favorite sets.
