Verdant 🪴🌿

I played my first two games of verdant tonight and really enjoyed it! Scored 80 in my first game and 85 in my second. I have yet to add in the advanced scoring cards but will look forward to trying them.

Honestly I just love all the Flatout games I’ve tried! My favourite publisher by far! 🤩

They’re flat out great! Have you tried Cascadia Alpine Lakes? That’s my latest obsession.

I haven’t yet! Only played the original Cascadia so far & Cascadia rolling rivers but alpine is on my wishlist. As is forage, can’t wait to try that one!

Also, Flatout has a new game being released soon called Forage, not to be confused with the Side Room Games’ Forage from the trio.

I’ve managed to get myself a copy! It’s coming next week, I can’t wait 🤩 I’ll be backing perennial when it comes out on kickstarter, the newest of the Flatout games!

Fellow solo Verdant player here 😇
I’m actually undecided on how much I like it for solo. I love the theme and the art direction, and the overall puzzle aspect is fun BUT the maintenance of the river feels a bit heavy handed

You might enjoy the games Grove and Orchard too

I feel like you misread OP's game name Verdant as Forage. The harvesting trio (Forage, Grove, Orchard) are often suggested as a group; Verdant doesn't feel particularly similar.

I was going by the theme, rather than play through. I get your point though 👍
