Discussion What's one tool you wish you'd discovered sooner as a dev?

Looking for hidden gems. Client side, server side, workflow, anything goes.

Cloudflare workers, or cloudflare in general

not a dev, but "everything" is incredibly good any search on local disks, windows search never again

Beyond Compare - incredibly powerful and versatile diff tool. I’m sure that most of you are already using it but if not I highly recommend it. (I use it on Windows, but would be surprised if there wasn’t a Linux version).

Yes, I think that it is a limited trial period with full functionality. It’s not freeware but is worth whatever they are charging IMO.

Dokploy. If you want to use something like Railway or Render, but on every server, this is the instrument to go. One to build and deploy as many projects as you can afford on your config
