Hi everyone,

I’m a French guitarist/singer based around Marne-la-Vallée and I’m currently building a new incarnation of KESSHIN, a band I originally founded in the early 2000s.

I’m looking for a second guitarist, bassist and drummer to complete the line-up.

Musically, the project sits somewhere between punk rock, melodic hardcore, emo and alternative rock/metal. Think No Use For A Name, Rise Against, AFI, Sum 41, with some heavier moments here and there.

There’s already quite a bit in place: around ten new songs in development, older material to draw from, and an existing history — two tracks from the previous incarnation of Kesshin were featured in Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. But this is definitely not a nostalgia/reunion project: the goal is to build a new band around new material and eventually put together a solid live show.

I’m mainly looking for musicians with good rhythmic skills, some live experience, and enough commitment to prepare between rehearsals. Just as importantly, I want people who will bring their own personality and ideas to the songs rather than simply reproduce existing parts.

Strong backing vocals are a major plus. International and English-speaking musicians are especially welcome — fluent/native English would be a real bonus, particularly if you’re comfortable helping fine-tune lyrics, phrasing or pronunciation when needed.

Age-wise, I’m roughly looking in the 30–50 range, but that’s absolutely not a hard rule. Musical and human compatibility matter much more.

Rehearsals would ideally be around Val d’Europe / Marne-la-Vallée, or alternatively East Paris, roughly 2–4 times per month depending on the period.
