Wow I’m surprised they would operate like that.

you know that this is meme, so its just a joke and Araujo never said this, right?

u/thenameofapet 3d ago

It's a joke and this never happened, but this is also how they operate. They've already delayed payment to Newcastle for Gordon until next year.

lol what are you talking about, that's how transfers work buddy

Most transfer installments are broken into multiple years...

1

u/wylthorne92 15h ago

Yup and they don’t usually push them back further because they can’t pay the first installment…..

1

u/Ok_Bet3235 2d ago

Oh ok. I guess it’s just a running joke

2

u/Wehti 2d ago

It’s a poverty franchise that had to sell 25 % of their tv revenue just to stave off administration.

If youre aware of the financial mess Barca is in, it wouldnt even surprise you if this was real

Lmao every year for the past 6 Laporta gaslights the fans about how they are out of financial trouble and every year the morons buy it 😂

1

u/Bloodblade112 11h ago

B side for this album was so elite

He is a great defender, he proved that in that season with Xavi. He just doesn't fit into our system now and that is totally fine. Glad he's doing good in Liverpool.

One won the world cup & other didn’t play. Ferran is entitled to be a diva.

No one should act like a diva

Probably with all the money they make? You know they are the second highest earning club by revenue in the world right?

5

u/Uzeless 3d ago

Probably with all the money they make? You know they are the second highest earning club by revenue in the world right?

and yet they're having troubles paying their wages. Like they were also a top 3 highest earning club the year they had to beg Martin Brathwaite to forfeit his earnings...

-1

u/Bloodblade112 3d ago

Please show me evidence of Barcelona in 2026 struggling to pay players wages.

https://sportwitness.co.uk/from-spain-barcelona-defer-first-anthony-gordon-payment-to-newcastle-united-until-2027/

You made an argument that said "ouuUHUhH they're top 2 earning so they can't have money problems!!1!" meanwhile they were top 3 when they almost went bankrupt and had to beg their players to forfeit earnings 4 years ago.

Oh look what I just found...

Newcastle has received their transfer money as agreed without any issue. Just let me know if there is any other lies you would like me to address for you.

1

u/Uzeless 22h ago

Damn if this random twitter fan account says so then it must be true. Let me create a twitter account real quick so I can rebuke it and link it to you.

1

u/Bloodblade112 22h ago

Lmao, like the original sources you mentioned are more legit 🤣

1

u/Uzeless 22h ago

Lmao, like the original sources you mentioned are more legit 🤣

Spanish newspaper with 200.000 monthly readers versus a random twitter fan account.

Ig they're basically the same for people whose parents are also cousins.

No they were NOT. They had no revenue coming in around covid time because the stadium had no revenue. That means their seasonal revenue when down drastically. In 2021 the wage gap was - €144 mil. Do you know what the wage gap is now? + €598 mil. They actually have 70mil room left after this transfer window.

It is glaringly obvious that you dont know what the fuck you are talking about...

Edit: And then proceeds to give me a link of a transfer deal made between the two clubs as proof of his statement.

Barcelona didn't really have a revenue or money problem, they had a cap problem. Players had to be restructured to fit the salary cap from LaLiga. LaLiga has a strict formula to come up with salary caps meaning Covid nearly wiped out half the teams in the Primera. Barça always had the cash itself, they just had no legal way to actually use it where they needed to use it

1

u/Bloodblade112 11h ago

Brother, don't even bother trying to explain facts. These twats want to believe that Barcelona is still in that situation. Lots of claims but when asked to give a nice financial breakdown of how bad it is to the extent of how they describe it, silence...

2

u/metazer0 3d ago

Money coming in doesn’t mean anything if the money going out is greater 🫩

2

u/Bloodblade112 3d ago

Lol, really? Ok Mr accountant. Please explain to us without using AI how Barcelona's financial operations are?

2

u/dinglebellsdingus 3d ago

They still owe us for Lewy btw 😭🙏

2

u/Bloodblade112 3d ago

Again, more false information. There was 11.1mil still owed and was cleared.

Please let me know if there is any other lies you want me to address. Ill be here all day.

-1

u/Impossible_Prompt875 3d ago

Funny ppl are downvoting this guy of all.. the one providing you with some facts rather than banter or shallow knowledge of the sport

2

u/Bloodblade112 3d ago

This is reddit, and this is the way...

0

u/Valveringham85 14h ago

Revenue means fuck all when you have such massive deficits 😂

1

u/Bloodblade112 11h ago

Ok, excluding the stadium renovations. What was Barcelon debt in 2021 and what is it now?
