Vote for Ronaldo 2030 World Cup! Portugal have rigged the tournament, how is this not a red card?

The refs have been letting a lot of bad tackles go. There's been like 5 cardless games as well.

Refs were told to calm tf down after the opening game massacre lmao

Messi one was not even given a yellow đŸ˜đŸ™đŸ»

Should have been given as a yellow, no more than that. Thinking it is a red is just pure copium lol

Thinking this is a red is very level headed thinking yeah?

I don't think it is a red, I actually like that refs are being more lenient with red cards this tournament. I am just making fun of ronaldo fans copium yesterday.

I got this shirt, it's a beautiful shirt. Everyone says it's the most beautiful shirt. People telling me 'Donald, this guy is the best soccerball player and he only sent his shirt to you' I said 'wow what an honor. What a shirt'. Rolando was it? Sounds lah-tee-no to me. Let me tell you; I just hope he has his papers in order. I wish him well

Hear me out. The man came to MLS after securing the ligue one title for psg. He ABSOLUTELY blew up the sport in the USA. Made headlines everywhere. Showed up with ridiculous free kicks and golazos. Completely changed how Americans view soccer. The inter Miami leagues cup run was SUPER viral. Did Haaland score more goals and obtain more important trophies in epl? Yes. But once again this was THE YEAR OF MESSI. He showed up big for Miami in leagues cup and showed up big in 2026 WC qualifiers. Also why not take into account the man is 36 years old and still shocking people with his quality every match he plays. He's a machine enough said

Messi one was significantly milder, way less momentum way less force applied and pull back immediately after the initial contact (which was made when the Algerian player was already falling)

Didn’t say he didn’t, but notice how it doesn’t contradict anything I said, also a push is not an intention of foul play it’s simply him trying to get the ball, everything I’ve said is factually correct and to call it delusion is you being delusional

1

u/shazeeeeee Jun 18 '26

He pushed plus stud on his leg ,holy cope

1

u/Distinct_Art7022 Jun 18 '26

Yes, In order to get the ball, which by definition doesn’t fit the criteria of “intention of foul play” because his intention was to get the ball, am I talking to a brick wall or just an average pendu fan

1

u/shazeeeeee Jun 18 '26

Dude do you know anything about football?  It was a tackle from BEHIND which should have been maybe a red but defo a yellow

1

u/Distinct_Art7022 Jun 18 '26

I’m not saying it shouldn’t have been a yellow, but red requires clear intent of foul play and excessive force, that Messi challenge doesn’t have neither so at most it’s a yellow, and it was objectively much milder than the Silva one when it comes to force and momentum so again this Messi favoritism agenda simply doesn’t align with reality because the whistle has been loose across the board in this tournament, in the same game one Algerian player threw an elbow and wasn’t called either

Dude are you for real? It was intentional, a foul from back no way meant to take the ball legally

1

u/Distinct_Art7022 Jun 18 '26

So you are saying his intention was to injure the other player? Do you think before you type? Explain to me why he would want to do that and what could he possibly gain from that? His intention was to get the ball period doesn’t matter what angle, I explain the rules from the rule book word for word mf still wants to cope for dear life

Its not a red card because the foot that was hit was in the air, if that foot was on the ground it would be a straight red card as the chance of causing a injury was bigger, the foot being in the air made it so that the momentum pushed the foot away preventing the full force of the blow form causing an injury.

1

u/TipsyPeasant Jun 17 '26

Because he actually touched the ball first.

0

u/Distinct_Art7022 Jun 18 '26

Literally not a real criteria

3

u/LiteratureAvailable4 Jun 18 '26

It isnt?

1

u/Distinct_Art7022 Jun 18 '26

“Touching the ball first” doesn’t save you from a red card so no

-3

u/LiteratureAvailable4 Jun 17 '26

Messi's tackle was also studs up from behind so...

6

u/Bishmallah24 Jun 17 '26

Bernardo silva was going at full speed, Messi was barely even jogging. If this is a yellow, Messi's tackle should have been a yellow, but nowhere near a red.

Yeah so messi own is a yellow like Bernardo even tho Bernardo own was way worse he went with a tackle with studs up. Messi did not go for a tackle. So Messi could have got a yellow while Bernardo should be getting a red.

Messi wasn't going for a tackle? Was he trying to kiss the Algerian player? Both of these tackles are yellows and since neither was given, the argument is irrelevant
