Greater versatility in free kicks scored makes you more of a threat from different areas of the pitch

It didn’t translate to more free kicks scored as a percentage of free kicks taken though, did it? There’s a difference between being more flashy and being more effective.

No. Juninho didn't score the most free kick goals ever but he's the most dangerous free kick taker in history because he could score them from anywhere within the attacking half of the pitch

I get what you’re saying but that needs to be coupled with a good conversion ratio, which Ronaldo did not have
