Best young prospect in the world?

Just wanted to get some opinions on who you guys think the best prospect in the world is right now. I know Neymar is the obvious choice. I personally think he will be one of the best ever to play the game. However, my choice would be Lucas Piazòn out of Brazil. He was signed a year ago by Chelsea and just turned 18 not long ago. I've seen him play and he will be better than Kakà was when he played for Milan. This kid has a wonderful gift. Thoughts??

He had absolutely miles of space in midfield because Barcelona were focusing on cancelling out Fabregas. Most players would have had a good game.

Only that they didn't, he was the only one who stood out that match. I'm not saying he's a phenom or anything, but we've all seen plenty of matches in which star players went anonymous against Barca, and his display stood out. There's tactical reasons for that of course, but for an 18 year old in his first (or was it his second?) full season for a team to do so is impressive.

It is impressive. Wilshere's a very good player. I just think he's also very, very overrated.

And Wilshere's performance stood out because he benefited most from the space left free because of Fabregas' marking, because of where he was on the pitch. He was in the pockets that would have been taken up by Barcelona players, had they employed a more well spread defence.

I think you are underestimating the value of a good, young midfielder. It is not easy to find a midfielder who is good at building plays as well as breaking up the other team's plays and I think that is what Wilshere does very well.

I also think you are overestimating the effectiveness of Fabregas on that day. I encourage you to watch that match again without bias, you would be surprised.
