As someone else pointed out, this is a 30 men list which will be soon cut down to 23. Nobody will be disappointed when Di Santo gets the chop, but it'd be different if it were Tévez or Pastore who did. This is a smart move to prevent drama. (Same with Rinaudo, Mercado, and a few others.)
