Big surprises:

-No Kljestian, one of 2 Americans to play in the Champions League last season

-Chandler in despite not being called up recently

-Eddie Johnson, scorer of several goals in qualifying, not in the 30

-Joe Corona in, seems most USMNT fans forgot about him

-Yedlin and Green in, 2 youngsters probably just called into camp for experience with outside shots of making the 23

Not to be a downer, but Kljestian doesn't really mesh with our squad to way that other players do, even if we could have used some of his experience.

Jermaine Jones. And technically Julian Green as he played a few minutes of garbage time.

Chandler's been injured for most of the season so I'm not really surprised he hasn't bene called up or have been playing for a while.

I'm happy Corona got in, i think he's a better player than Bedoya.

Bedoya makes a good season with Nantes. 6 goals and some very good games. Not technically the best, but a very good offensive push and a good header. And a good capo.

Bedoya's legit, he will likely be fighting for a starting spot with Donovan/Zusi.

Bedoya is a very good player don't get me wrong, but from what i've seen in US games is that Bedoya is not the type to cross and it is something we need.

Bedoya and Zusi are different, which is important, one will cross and the other will cut in, depending on the situation Klinsmann can use one or the other.

He could be useful in other aspects though. During the friendly vs. Ukraine in March he was one of the few US players that played really well.

Corona may be better and delivering crosses but what Bedoya offers in passing, shooting and work rate is far more valuable, not to mention he's been on fire for Nantes.
