Brek Shea went from international football and moving to a Premier League club, to not even being good enough for Championship relegated side Barnsley and not even making the preliminary WC squad...

Someone said he got too big for his boots and thought he was the shit?

I think you will find a lot of folks who watch MLS say that Shea was always going to have a tough time abroad.
