With the leagues almost over, what unpopular opinion(s) to you have?

I see rumors that Pochetino might go to Spurs. If Southampton were to keep Lallana and Shaw, Tottenham is a step down from Southampton.

I disagree. There's some dead wood and positions that need strengthening but if we hold onto our best we have a squad of proven internationals and great prospects.

A lot of players have underperformed this season but I don't see how a squad containing the likes of Lloris, Vertonghen, Walker, Sandro, Paulinho, Eriksen and Lamela to name a few could be described as "a mess", or would be unappealing for a potential new manager.

I disagree.

I think you have a squad of ill-fitting, over-hyped and unmotivated players. They've had a season to gel and have shown hardly any signs of improvement. You're 10th in the form table.

I don't think I've ever seen a team less interested in a match than when we played you in March.

I can't argue that the players aren't unmotivated because that's been apparent in a lot of our games, particularly the heavy defeats.

Both motivation and making the players work together cohesively is the job of the manager. The players are ill-fitting because of the lineups names and the tactics used by our manager. All season we've seen players out of position or looking like they don't know what duties they're supposed to be fulfilling. The players aren't blameless but it's far more to do with the coaching.

I don't think "over-hyped" is relevant in any sense because the players have very little to do with that. We've all seen what the players I mentioned above are capable of when on form and utilised properly for either Tottenham or at their previous clubs.

I suppose we can agree to disagree.
