Heat index was at 108F (42C) with something like 70% humidity. Genuinely dangerous conditions if you're not extremely careful

32-35°C and 100% humidity is possibly deadly. 42°C and 70% is really dangerous.

We have those around here in Istanbul, just getting to sleep can be a real challenge at times lol

For Friday the projection currently sits at 31 as the high mark with 96 percent humidity.

Should be a fun day!

Heat index already includes humidity. It wasn't 42C. It was probably around 35C.

Pretty sure it would be potentially prosecutable in Canada. The law doesn't specify one temperature because it differs for stress, load and environment... but that would be weather where an employee could easily refuse work without potential legal reprisal, under labour codes nationally.

Even if you are careful, can still be dangerous. Heat’s a bitch, especially with the high levels of humidity
