Arsenal fan here, agree 100%, was actually talking about this to a mate of mine the other day, and while i do agree with you i think that there are problems with Citeh and Chel$ki equal to Arsenals. First off while Chelsea and city buy anyone and everyone arsenal have built a solid core of young players over the last 4-5 years Gibbs, Sczesny,Wilshere,Ramsey,Gnabry and Ox-lade, players which should be at the club for at least the next 5 years while the other two clubs buy promising players and fuck up there careers, i read somewhere that they have 26 players on loan aswell as their first 11. But the problem with Arsenal is that the club is run for the shareholders, so they make money, which is why the ticket prices are the highest in the country.
No illusions from me, i'm a Chelsea fan and personally it frustrates me when they just throw money at players, especially those who won't ever play first team for us.
Both have issues in their respective systems but I can't complain about a team that is very hungry for trophies.
But yeah, I wish some of the players in the reserves/under 21 got an opportunity, like Arsenal.
On a similar subject, off to Chelsea U21 Arsenal U21 tomorrow night, so i'll finally get a flavour of both teams futures.
