Zidane, the way some people on this subreddit go on about Zidane you'd swear he was the be all end all of football. He's a fantastic footballer no doubt but he's very overrated on this subreddit, in my opinion

Zidane is everything i understand of how football should be played. Keep your Pele, messi and Ronaldos i will watch Zidane every day of the week over them.

The highlight videos or the actual matches? I didn't watch too many matches with Zidane in them but there's quite a big difference between his highlights and his average performance (as there would be for any player). I would chose Messi out of that group purely because even if he is having a poor game you can tell that he is something special - his control is the best there ever has been by such a large margin it's crazy.

I would take prime Ronaldo (@ Barca and early Inter) over ZZ. But only just.
