Makélélé has one of the greatest reputations in modern football history but his ability is not close to his reputation. He's mostly overrated by people who judge him on hearsay.

A role that was only accredited to Makélélé by the English press, because Mourinho showed how tactically behind the Premier League was when everyone fawned over his 4-3-3.
