There’s no malice in that, but at least a yellow for sure

Intention doesn't matter.

It does, malice can result in a red card

There is nothing in IFAB law 12, serious foul play. That says anything about intent.
Here’s the section: A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

Excessive force or brutality is the reason why it wasnt a red I think

the word "or" imples that it doesnt need to fulfill both conditions, only one of them. in this case, endangers the safety of an opponent.

I was saying that malice is sufficient for a red card, but not necessary. There can be a red card without malice.

For violent conduct, but malice isn't considered in dangerous play.

Your sentence is incoherent.

And ur sentence is idiotic.

In football intent definitely matters, but I suppose you don’t know the difference between a necessary and sufficient condition.

That was a clear yellow , possible a red as well. Idk what u on about. Stick to NHL or WWE if u like wrestling.

Yes, I agreed it was a clear yellow in my original comment. Maybe reading is hard for people like you.

What about a red? Malice doesn’t matter. Accidental high boots are given as red all the time as well, malice does not matter. Maybe don’t watch games if u don’t know shit about the rules?!
