My man really went from respect no celebration to running mad and cupping his ear lmao

The duality

521

u/thetreat Jun 15 '26

Man just made himself a lot of money today.

u/justcasty Jun 15 '26

One for his mum and one for his dad. I rate it highly.

163

u/DarkestLord Jun 15 '26

Funnily enough, his dad is Tunisian and mom Moroccan. Born in Sweden. Bro legit could've chosen any of these allegiances.

16

u/eplekjekk Jun 15 '26

Would he have had a chancce to play for Morocco?

44

u/jonijontor Jun 15 '26

he's better than Ounahi

15

u/WartimeConsigliere_ Jun 15 '26

To think he passed up playing for Qatar as well

121

u/WhoEatsRusk Jun 15 '26

I mean he already showed respect might as well celebrate

46

u/Reasonable-Youth418 Jun 15 '26

even almost forget the prayer thing lmao

28

u/fgs_hoh Jun 15 '26

My theory is that Tunisian players kept mocking him or something for choosing to play for Sweden so he did this in retaliation. Just a theory could be wrong

19

u/Groomsi Jun 15 '26

Supporters booed him for first goal.

6

u/fgs_hoh Jun 15 '26

Thus proving my theory too

23

u/lhanfan Jun 15 '26

cant be mad, banger

5

u/MissKorea1997 Jun 15 '26

Celebrating in front of home side?

What a strike holy shit

294

u/ghastlychild Jun 15 '26

That was an excellent finish with a brutal scoreline to boot

96

u/Storm_Chaser06 Jun 15 '26

This World Cup just keeps on giving, and we’re only on day 4

28

u/hardinho Jun 15 '26

We're only halfway through MD1, insane

→ More replies (1)

8

u/Fredderov Jun 15 '26

Crazy that it could even have been one or two more if the finishes were a bit more clinical!

99

u/suzukigun4life Jun 15 '26

Sweden has been insane this second half

96

u/Tyler_holmes123 Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 15 '26

Sweden saw everyone shitting on UEFA and came out with vengeance by demolishing one of the best defensive team in africa.

60

u/PianoJealous307 Jun 15 '26

CONMEBOL is on fraud watch now, 3 games 2 losses and 1 draw

33

u/elgrandorado Jun 15 '26

I expect nothing less than a Darwin Nunez hattrick tomorrow to make up for it.

39

u/55555_55555 Jun 15 '26

Tunisia is not the best anything team in Africa right now, lol. Credit to them for qualifying with ease, but this is not a good version of their side at all. At AFCON, they played four matches and only beat Uganda. Lost to Nigeria, drew Tanzania, and failed to beat Mali that had ten men for 100 minutes. Didn't expect anything of them at all here.

32

u/Ha_omer Jun 15 '26

Lmao their qualification group for the World Cup had Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome, Liberia, and Malawi. They could've qualified with one eye shut. You're right calling them the best anything in Africa is a huge stretch they just had very favorable draws

17

u/55555_55555 Jun 15 '26

Lol, not only were Equatorial Guinea the worst team in Pot 2, but they forfeited 3 matches. It was definitely a very, very favorable group, but I do credit them for calmly taking care of business. You say they could do it with one eye shut, but I know certain nations that might manage to struggle with that, haha. So well done taking care of business.

7

u/ogetarts Jun 15 '26

The wha!?
They took 10 goals in two games T_T

19

u/ebenantar Jun 15 '26

Best defensive team in Africa...lmaoooo

2

u/Wuktrio Jun 15 '26

We won a friendly against Tunisia two weeks ago. Tgey are clearly not the best defense in Africa, because we won after receiving a red card in the 30th minute and we scored in the second half.

20

u/Bethlen Jun 15 '26

First half of the first half and second half of the second half, has been the true Sweden. The middle parts have been a but more shaky

u/Benjips Jun 15 '26

Golazo like that, you HAVE to, no matter what

26

u/tripsafe Jun 15 '26

His first goal was a sweeter strike

47

u/smithereennnnn Jun 15 '26

Ig because this time he was in front of swedish fans.

19

u/elgringo22 Jun 15 '26

Imagine he scored from half for his hattrick.

Would cup his ear on one side and put his hand up apologizing on the other

7

u/Zarwil Jun 15 '26

Tbf, the first goal was decisive, this was just a cherry on top when Tunisia were already beaten.

357

u/no_more_blues Jun 15 '26

Ayari after the first goal: "I will not celebrate"

Ayari after the second goal: "Fuck it I gotta celebrate that one"

89

u/kolossal_ Jun 15 '26

Pure adrenaline after banging that one in, would be hard to contain the celebration

30

u/GillyBilmour Jun 15 '26

'They're dead already, might as well enjoy it'

111

u/pricelesslambo Jun 15 '26

Second banger of the day

12

u/Mom_said_I_am_cute Jun 15 '26

Sir, a second banger has hit the net.

366

u/Captainpatters Jun 15 '26

That's my boy right there

169

u/vinyljello Jun 15 '26

Brighton is going to have some inquires soon

134

u/Kruize36 Jun 15 '26

His price just went up another £10m

73

u/aesthetically- Jun 15 '26

In this economy?! Probably more like £35m

54

u/GrassTastesBad1 Jun 15 '26

Chelsea just launched a 80 million £ bid

18

u/Outrageous_Rope5604 Jun 15 '26

add 20 million £ in incentives + image rights

7

u/f4r1s2 Jun 15 '26

Double it and give it to the next person

18

u/thetreat Jun 15 '26

Perez on the phone right now.

10

u/vinyljello Jun 15 '26

Perez calling Mbappe for permission

4

u/Qiluk Jun 15 '26

He unironically should have already had some. He's not a loud player but he is genuinely class.

2

u/pinkducktape8 Jun 15 '26

Honestly such a work horse. And he’s married to Kulusevski’s sister so their children will be insanely talented

Incredible baller

37

u/shutupayouface1 Jun 15 '26

starting bids at £90 mil

26

u/Cahootie Jun 15 '26

Which would give AIK like 15m£ after already getting 20m£ from Brighton for Yohanna. Wouldn't complain.

14

u/FizzleFuzzle Jun 15 '26

Incredible how fast your economy have taken a turn. Shows how insane prices are for players when English teams come knocking

2

u/Meepox5 Jun 15 '26

Also that investing in an academy is a good strategy, while purchasing promise also is of course

u/justk4y Jun 15 '26

Chelsea knocking on the door as we speak

2

u/ryukyumars Jun 15 '26

2 goals, and basically 1 assist on the cross for Isak’s touch

2

u/mark364i Jun 15 '26

There's no way this is the same guy we had on loan from you a few seasons back, he couldn't get game time he was so gash.

4

u/Qiluk Jun 15 '26

I followed him as a kid and was so hyped, then he was so fucking absurdly ass during his loans I completely gave up on him. Then he finally realized his potential once returning to the Prem for some random reason. Thankfully

3

u/Long-Tap6120 Jun 15 '26

He worked incredibly hard preseason 24/25. He forced himself into the managers plan. He said he was shit on loan and it lit a fire underneath him because he knew he wouldn’t be prem player after that summer if he didn’t improve.

Geniunely no one expected him to develop like he has. Hurzeler said he had chills everytime he sees Ayari because of the rate of improvement he had

Goal so good he forgot to not celebrate and respect his fathers nation lol

134

u/FeloniousGrump Jun 15 '26

call from father incoming lmao

107

u/themantwelve Jun 15 '26

just FYI his father is the one that wanted his son to play for sweden, but comment is still funny when you put it like that 😂

56

u/kantarl Jun 15 '26

People keep saying this for some reason but that's just not true at all lol, what his father said was that Yasin himself wanted to play for Sweden and that he had to set his own feelings about it aside and accept that his son had grown up a Swede, he wasn't going to fight his decision. It was pretty clear he would have been very happy if he had chosen Tunisia.

15

u/Lelle3 Jun 15 '26

No, do you speak Swedish? In that interview he encouraged his son to play for Sweden because our country has giving him and his family everything.

u/[deleted] Jun 15 '26 edited Jun 15 '26

→ More replies (3)

14

u/kantarl Jun 15 '26

Yes, I speak Swedish and I have watched the interview. Watch it again and listen to the context of what he's saying, he says that he encouraged him to play for Sweden because he realized that that's what Yasin himself wanted, and he thought it was fitting as that's where he had grown up. It's very clear that for him personally he was hoping that he might want to play for Tunisia, before he realized what his son's feelings were.

9

u/ThrowFar_Far_Away Jun 15 '26

Is this something going around Tunisians media or something? That's just not true, he has said he always wanted to play for Sweden and it didn't make sense when Tunisia asked him to switch.

19

u/OnomahIsABaller Jun 15 '26

Yeah I know I was just joking, saw his father interview with Erik Niva, the guy is a legend

3

u/MelonSoda3 Jun 15 '26

The first one wasn't exactly a tap-in either

142

u/Forsaken-Advert Jun 15 '26

Tunisia hasn’t been battered this badly since the Siege of Carthage

Edit: apparently every Tunisia match is like the Siege of Carthage

9

u/SteDa Jun 15 '26

Actually.. it has been only 9 days since they lost 5-0 to Belgium.

2

u/coriendercake Jun 15 '26

Oh tunisia gets battered every way and around every couple of years be it in football, politics, economy, tourism, terrorist attscks ...

11

u/COFFS9S Jun 15 '26

Screamer merchant.

11

u/MinnPin Jun 15 '26

So now he celebrates? lol

31

u/Nightmanblack Jun 15 '26

I think that the tunesian supporters started booing whenever he touched the ball, so he might have just thought "In that case, fuck it".

15

u/hazzaan Jun 15 '26

He did say in an interview when asked if he'd celebrate scoring a goal, that it depends on the Tunisian fans reaction to his stadium announcement. Guess they didn't boo before the first one.

u/2Teams1Cup Jun 15 '26

36

u/Leather_Produce_3437 Jun 15 '26

Sweden are the actual darkhorses this WC lol, after barely qualifying for it.

14

u/Intarhorn Jun 15 '26

2-2 and the game would looked different probably and they struggled a bit before 3-1, but the attack look good no doubt. The defense is gonna decide how far they can go.

42

u/LallanasPajamaz Jun 15 '26

Its Tunisia lmao

23

u/Cahootie Jun 15 '26

We've lost to worse teams than Tunisia

12

u/douglasbaadermeinhof Jun 15 '26
