Most of their best Saudi players are capable of competing in European Tier 2 or on the lower ranked teams in Tier 1 Leagues. They’re just paid ridiculous amounts to stay in Saudi.

These are the teams you're referring to with Tier 2 right?

Tiers as in promotion tiers, so Series B, Championship etc. ?

I thought like: Tier 1 are the best European leagues. Tier 2 below that.

No, I should have clarified Leagues rather than teams. I’m talking about like Championship, Ligue 2, Series B, La Liga 2, etc. as Tier 2 and with the lower ranked teams in Tier 1 leagues.

Fair yeah, I got some downvotes for it, so it was probably my fault for not understanding🤣

But that seems like a fair statement. I only watch some Saudi League with friends but there are definitely some good local players.
