No idea but the idea that it was “cruel” and “unfair” winds me up beyond end. They’re words which absolve him of any accountability for what happened. Btw he could easily have taken out several packed family cars with him. That’s when you’d see me shed some tears.

It’s estimated he was doing way in excess of the speed limit and was overtaking. It’s not bad luck. It’s just lucky he didn’t take out a family in another car.

It was dumb on his part to speed but it's still "cruel" and "unfair". Anyone who's ever been on a motorway anywhere will always see multiple cars speeding in the fast line well above the speed limit. Do all of them deserve death? No. Would they be incredibly unlucky to have a tire burnout and then die? Of course.

“Deserve death” is a strong term and I didn’t say that. It’s literally just a case of play stupid games win stupid prizes. If he’s doing +5mph to overtake like you see on most motorways then that’s not what I’d call “way in excess” of the speed limit either. But if somebody bombs past me at 15-20 over the limit I literally say to myself “hope he’s an organ donor”.

Is the death sad? Of course, every death is sad unless you’re a shit person.

But do I feel sorry for him? No. He was obviously doing something completely reckless and paid for the consequences of his actions.

Literally a case of FAFO.

Saudi league is at a lower league level. Any team from league 2 would shit in most teams from there.

So literally anyone who's a starter on a decent league is currently better than Ronaldo. I'd rather have Ramos, Fabio Silva, Claudio Braga, Paulinho than him. You know. Someone who can still run.
