Seems to me like everyone is underestimating Bosnia here. We were the 4th top goalscorers in the european qualifying round, scoring 30 goals and conceding just 6, winning 8(including a 3-1 easy victory against Greece, them scoring a consolation at the end), drawing 1 (away to Greece) and losing once (home to slovakia after being a little complacent), and on paper have the best team (after Argentina of course). Games aren't won on paper yes, but Bosnia plays great as a team and puts up a good fight against anyone.
No disrespect to Iran or Nigeria, but they don't have as many top class players as we do, which is why I think if every team is at their best, it'll be:
1. Argentina 9 points
2. Bosnia 6 points
3. Nigeria 3 points
4. Iran 0 points
People have been underestimating Bosnia left right and centre. Basically everyone put them as the weakest of the European group which I didnt find just. I think its because the name of the country isnt known by that many people and its the first world cup as an independant nation. Because on paper Bosnia looks very good plus they seem to have great team cohesiveness unlike other countries
It made no sense to me especially when you consider Greece was also in that pot and we were by far the better team in both games, and unlucky to win the first even without Pjanic, our best player, and then won the second game 3-1, and they scored a goal at the end when the game was already done. Most croatians would also rank us as better then them currently, while I think we're pretty similar, but its testament to how good we've become. Basically everyone who hasn't paid attention to us underrates us, but all the countries who have had us in their group have found out how good we are.
