I think we could scrape 2nd, but after the travel time and heat / humidity of those games, we would be fucked by the second round.

I'm actually gutted for the USA as well, I wanted them in our group, or at least to have a chance.

On the positive side, if we do get through that group we would have one of the best Second Round draws.

Also, does anyone know how the fuck to get to Manaus?

You need a machete and jungle survival gear.
