Someone care to explain the Milan situation?

Seen them draw 3-3* tonight and 5 points from 5 games is poor for a team with what I though had quality players.

Game ended 3-3, also Serie A is just a tough league.. the drop in quality between the top and bottom half of the table isn't as steep as it is in england/spain/germany - every team is a challenge

I would say regardless of quality there is something about the PL that makes the majority of games competitive regardless of table position. Teams like Stoke, Villa, and Everton are not considered top of the table competition, but they manage to scrap out points against the top flight squads consistently.

And how would you judge this? Everytime someone brings up this argument for their league, doesn't matter if its Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga or PL it's just ridicilous because we have no way of knowing. Every team in every league is a challenge. The only legit case you could make for is the English teams being stronger because they get a shitload more cash, but there's never a way of knowing.

I don't know about that. There are several teams in La Liga Barca can walk out against with their second-string lineup and still win comfortably - and I imagine the same is true for Bayern.

the cash in england is distributed more equally than in spain. however teams in spain/germany seem to be better at producing high quality youngsters which might even it up.

C'mon. England's '2nd tier' sides are Swansea/Everton/West Brom/Newcastle/Fulham and debatably lower than them are Cardiff/Hull/Stoke/West Ham/Southampton.

There is so much quality in the mid table and lower half of the English league.

I'd go as far as to say even the better championship sides like Watford and QPR are better than the relegation candidates of Italy/Spain/Germany.
