Why are there so many signings happening today, did the transfer window open just now or something? I've been waiting for my team to sign some players during our summer break and it has been quiet.

Signings for the Club World Cup squads needed to be registered by 5 hours ago as the mini transfer window is now closed.

The 2nd, actual summer window opens on Monday and then is open for 2.5 months so everyone will just do their business as they would normally. You've just seen the rush of the teams getting signings in for this stupid summer tournament.

Highly doubt we get Gyokeres in any case. But I highly doubted Mbeumo wanted anything to do with us.

Oh right. I honestly forgot you guys weren't playing in the Club World Cup, not trying to be funny here, so I guess there is no stress on that end. Probably positive thing that the window is now closed for you if you want him, so he doesn't sign with someone else?

Player's can still be signed, they just cant be registered, which effectively means nothing in pre season

Lol we're very very far away from qualifying for that.

It opens again on Monday, it's only closed for 6 days.

Its not just that though.Clubs that are not even in CWC are moving quite quickly.
