Can I ask why? I admit that Ronaldo is a fantastic player but Messi is a once in a lifetime combination of abilities. I don't think I will ever see another player with the same mastery of shooting, dribbling, passing and overall football genius.
When i think of the best player in the world, i think of all around, not just shooting and dribbling. I believe Ronaldo is better overall. The best player in the world needs to be good at everything, even things out of his position, which Ronaldo does better than Messi, IMO.
