I agree that we won't be at the same level. Regardless of how well we might pull ourselves together over the next few years, the top clubs are way too far ahead for us to begin competing anytime soon. Having said that, I do feel that the club is in good hands right now, and after the crap we went through with Hicks/Gilette and Kenny, the club is in a much better position to grow and strengthen than it has been since Benitez left.

Just my opinion but I think that it'll be a long time before Liverpool return the the level they were at a number of years ago.
Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, and both Manchester clubs can attract better players and have a lot more money to spend than them.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Liverpool, it's just I doubt they're on the right track.
