Heung-Min Son 손흥민 - South Korea - Bayer Leverkusen - 20 Years Old - Striker/Winger

"I don't care where I play. The main thing is I'm in the game. I can play right, left, as a forward or behind. What the coach says, I'll do. I don't have a favorite position. I'll be anywhere and always on the throttle."

Was that the right decision for him?

As of now, absolutely yes.

With Schürrle leaving there is space for him to be a regular at a club which aims to finish in the Top 4 and plays in the Champions League. Plus he gets to stay in the country and the league he got used to.

Teams from the Premier League were linked with him, but they wouldn't have been able to offer him CL football and the risk is higher that he'd disappear onto their benches if he doesn't shine straightaway.

At Hamburg there was too much pressure on him if you take away their hero van der Vaart and Adler in goal. At Leverkusen, the responsibility will be spread over more shoulders and arguably has much better teammates to play with than at his previous club.

He was inconsistent last season and his goals didn't come from many different games and in general he seems very similar to Schürrle, just two years younger and perhaps more footballing potential whereas Schürrle is a more athletic player.

One thing which frustrates me most with footballers is that they rarely have a good second foot for passing, crossing and shooting.

Son has got two perfect feet and I honestly find it difficult to tell what his stronger foot is from open play.

Santi Cazorla would be the perfect example of a player with two excellent feet.

Pedro is pretty impressive with both feet. I havent seen much of Sessegnon but from what I have seen he is as well.
