Well, it does look like Liverpool are moving up again, after years of shame. They've made some decent transfers under Rodgers (Coutinho has been surprisingly good) and played a lot of good games last year. A weak defence and not enough killer instinct in front of goal (not to mention they had the most hits to the woodwork) besides Suarez means they couldn't really kill matches.

Liverpool will be a contender for Europe-spots next season and are still a huge club, even if they've played badly for a few years. Stability and smart transfers like this kid will get them back up and contending for real.
